Overview
Cut Glass Bottles is a sustainable design brand focused on recycling discarded glass bottles and transforming them into functional, stylish drinking glasses. The goal of this project was to create logo marks that clearly communicate reuse, transformation, and craftsmanship while remaining bold, modern, and easily recognizable across packaging, social media, and physical products.
This project is also meant to encourage businesses, such as bars and restaurants, to transform left over wine bottles into reusable drinking glasses or other decorations such as lighting to save money and potential create other income on the side. Why buy extra glassware when you can use what you already have, and if customers are interested in hand cut glasses have some available for purchase.

Logo One
Concept
- The idea visually represents the moment of transformation; a wine bottle being cleanly cut into a usable glass. The slice in the bottle shows the wine to be enjoyed and the potential for the left over bottle afterwards, further emphasizing both the recycle process and the brand’s hands-on craftsmanship
Design Decisions
- Minimal bottle silhouette for instant recognition
- Strong horizontal cut symbolizing transformation
- Dripping red accent suggesting the drink and precision
- Limited color palette for bold impact and easy reproduction
Logo Two
Concept
- The mockup has a circular badge variation designed for stamps, stickers, and product markings. It focuses on approachability and versatility while still clearly communicating the recycling concept. The circular shape reinforces ideas of reuse and lifecycle, while the angled typography adds motion and energy.

- Circular badge format for easy application on glassware and packaging
- High-contrast red background to stand out on neutral materials
