Overview

Cupid's Arrow was a fun graphic design project for Valentine's day. It was the perfect imperfect love letter reniniscent of a simpler time when notes were scribbled on paper and secretly passed in class. Some might find it nostalgic, while others might find it fresh and brand new. The final logo inspires young love, and a sense of raw honesty with a personal touch.

Goals

1. Create a fun t-shirt design that puts a twist on traditional Valentine’s Day tropes.
2. Evoke authentic, unpolished emotion through playfully cleaned up chicken scratch linework.
3. Design for versatility — wearable by all genders, whether for gifting or personal expression.
4. Ensure the logo would reproduce well on fabric, both in screen and digital printing.

Design Highlights

1. Scribbled Heart: Drawn by hand using rough, overlapping strokes to evoke passion and spontaneity..
2. Arrow Through Heart: A classic Valentine's Theme refering to Cupid's arrow.
3. Placement: Can be centered on the chest, large format for impact, or smaller left-chest location as a subtle indicator of where the heart lives.
4. Material Compatibility: Designed to hold texture and linework whether screen printed or heat transferred.
